There is too much ignorance on display in this thread and way too much decision making based on this ignorance, which is not a sign of sound thinking. I will take responsibility for some of this confusion by not making clear who we are earlier (responsibility for the unsound thinking, of course, belongs to its own author).

As J.T. pointed out, the Portland Action Group of Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth formed last fall around the activities of the 9/11 anniversary. Last summer I signed up to be the Local Contact for AE911Truth. Shortly after that Marcela Pena contacted me. Now that there were two of us we decided to put on an event. This was a presentation of the preliminary version of the new AE911Truth video, "Experts Speak Out" at the Hillsdale LIbrary in southwest Portland last September. Since that time we added members, including J.T. and Glenn Goldman, and formed an official Portland Action Group within AE911Truth.

Now, where to hold meetings? Since some of the members of our new group know some of the members of the Portland 9/11 Truth Alliance I decided to hold meetings simultaneous with their meetings. We would meet every two weeks while the Truth Alliance met every week. This provided a lot of cool energy having so many truth activists in the same room at the same time. The way this worked was that for 15 minutes or so, as people were coming in, the two groups would socialize. Following that, we broke off into two separate groups and held two independent conversations at two separate tables. As J.T. also pointed out, the last two meetings of ours were held from 9-11 am, ahead of the Truth Alliance meetings held from 11-1. This was done because of personal work conflicts of some of our members. It also afforded the people who wanted to attend both meetings the opportunity to do so.

All of the members of the AE911Truth Portland Action Group are members of AE911Truth, having signed the petition at AE911Truth.org. Very few of the members of the Portland 9/11 Truth Alliance have signed the petition at AE911Truth (I have the list of signers for Oregon). The focus of our discussions are different. We stick to the hard evidence behind the collapses of the three WTC towers in New York on 9/11. The Truth Alliance includes our topic as a small subset of what they cover. However, differences in topics aside, as well as disagreements in some areas, I consider the members of the Portland 9/11 Truth Alliance patriots for their work to inform the people of Portland of the false official explanation for 9/11.

Come to the Richard Gage presentation and see for yourself what we are about. The event at the Moreland Theater starts at 2 pm this Sunday. Ticket prices are $10 at the door, $8 in advance (Brown Bag Tickets), $5 for students & seniors, and $0 if you cannot afford to pay for a ticket. There is also a second event at PCC-Sylvania on Monday at noon. A donation is suggested for that event.

Whoever it is making false accusations against the AE911Truth Portland Action Group should be ashamed of yourself. An apology from you would be in order, although I certainly don't expect one based on what I've read so far.

This contradicts Glenn Goldman's story in the same comments:

I was not aware that there was an effort to coordinate meeting times with the "Truth Alliance." Before I joined the local a&e9/11 group, I made it VERY clear that I did not want to have anything to do with the "Alliance" group. I've only attended two meetings, and only at the last meeting did I see members of the Alliance show up toward the end of the A&E meeting. Had I known that there was a conscious effort to coordinate with them, I would have objected.

As obviously transparent this fibbing hilarity is, go to Glenn Goldman's page to see exactly how improbable these events are. The stories are tissue thin and only intended to convince the most brainwashed group members. More gems:

David Fura manages that website and, until Indy users cried foul in the comments, the so called separate group was planning to meet at the same time, same place, proving they are same fags. Either Fura changed it knowing he was lying, or website owner Marcela Pena did(scroll down to domain info). Either way, they knew they were lying.

Fura isn't just a dupe; he's actively supporting the scam. His use to the group is probably over and he should consider himself lucky, since the dumb bitch posted photos of his children on Facebook for all the creepy fucks to see(kids pixelized):

information with freaky pedo fucks like Ozzy who has attacked people through their kids. Or we're assuming Fura doesn't know and he's not using his kids as credibility props like other members have.
